Hi All. As a 2019 Commonwealth Lawn Bowling Club member, you will have received this information by email. A new membership list will be drawn up after June 22.
If you wish to bowl this season we are opening our club to bowl starting on Monday June 22. We have scheduled a drop in open house on Friday June 19 between 1:00 to 3:00, and Sunday June 21 between 1:00 to 3:00. Based on the recent survey, it is estimated that 50 to 60 members are planning to play.
Please try to make it to the club within those times as there are a number of matters that need to be dealt with. They include:
- Review of our new procedures.
- Answer any questions and concerns.
- Sign-out club Bowls for those who need them.
- Sign waiver and consent forms.
- Collect emergency contact information.
- Clarify booking procedures as there will be no drop-in bowling.
- Clean out lockers.
- Collect membership payment from those who have not paid.
- Schedule volunteers to assist with the procedures.
A number of our members have put considerable effort into setting out the detailed rules and procedures in order that we meet the mandated protocols and safety requirements necessary for us to open and stay open.
